The Weather Outside is Frightful!

Snow and lots of it… I can’t believe it keeps falling. This is the most snow I have been around in years.

Call it La Nia weather pattern if you want, but this winter's snow is exceeding the National Weather Service's 30-year averages in a big way. We have actually had to use a shovel this year instead of a broom and the snow is sticking to the ground (and roads).

School was closed in the Boise district for the first time in years today. It almost feels like when I was a kid and we would play in the drifts. Snow days were something I dreamed about. The jeep, a tow rope and helping people. That is my memory of snow days.

Snow is predicted to keep falling throughout the weekend and some anticipate the rest of the month.
