14 Weeks and 2 days, Not that I am counting!

2 More Weeks until our next doctors appointment, but here is what the twins are doing now! They can squint (my children, sorry Grandpa we are squinters in our family!), frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck thumbs. They have brain impulses that cause all of the mentioned actions; facial muscles are also getting a workout as there tiny features form one expression after another. Sometimes little bugs can be seen sucking there thumb. And it is not to classy to talk about, but the kidneys are producing urine. I so didn’t know that. I always thought it was a joke when someone told me that before. Anyway, urine is released into the amniotic fluid around them and is a process they will keep up until birth.
Yesterday one of the new mom’s from the office brought her daughter in. I am trying to get an idea of size since twins are usually smaller. She was 12 lbs and it was a good nice fit. I am proud to report, no crying and she seemed content with me. I call it a success!!!
