Josh and I have selected the car seats. We have checked consumer reports, every baby site and every review we could get our hands on and ta da!!! I think we have reached a decision...
Nice thing about the model we have chosen is we are able to purchase extra bases so we can switch it from car to car. Seems like we wouldn't need them, but everyone says we will want them.
How is making that for silly, but I think we have made a decision... Do we count it as one decision or two??

I concur about the extra bases. In some cars, hooking in the carrier or the base is a real pain!!! Installing it once keeps you from that extra instance of frustration. Here's another reminder/tip: if you are going to travel and rent a car, bring the bases along if you are going to be gone awhile or get in and out of the car a bunch. It's worth the extra hauling. They ship through connected to the carriers or by themselves for free (or they did when mine were in carriers.)
