Our babies are 3 days old today! Little Missy is off of her sea pack and took her first bottle yesterday. Yeap- lots of hair. I think Hunna will be braiding it by the end of the summer. Our little man tried a bottle on Sunday and wasn’t interested. Yesterday he had success.
One of the nurses said something that was made me feel so much better. We are in the ICU because they are small not sick. I worry when we tell people they are there they think something is wrong. The wiggle bugs just haven’t learned (as they say in the business) the suck, swallow and breath combo. They get breath on it’s own, and suck swallow, sometimes. Apparently- it is very hard to coordinate the three. I never knew. I seem to have it down.
K got to go home yesterday afternoon. She came down to see the babies and was so happy for us. I remember when I was younger my Grandmother told me all you could ask for in life was grace and dignity. She is absolutely my picture of living grace. Dr. told her she would be on iron for a few months and tired, but back to herself in no in no time.
Everyone is so excited. What blessings… The Idaho Falls Grands went back on Sunday evening, but are coming back Wednesday. I don’t think they can stand to be away one more minute from our miracles.
Still working on names! Thanks for the patience!!! It is harder than it looks…

I am so excited to watch these little miracles grow. Kudos to Morgan and Josh for the tireless hours they put in at the hospital to make sure these two know they are loved. They couldn't have a better mom and dad.
Love,
Whitney
